SIMILAR is intended for character string pattern matching. The difference
between SIMILAR and LIKE is that SIMILAR supports a much more extensive
range of possibilities ("wild cards," etc.) than LIKE does.
Here the syntax:
expression [ NOT ] SIMILAR TO pattern [ ESCAPE escape ]
