< <p>As many of you know, there are many companies that donate <a href="/about/servers">servers</a> and <a href="/about/sponsors">developers</a> to the PostgreSQL project. As generous as the contributions may be, they still do not cover all of the needs of the PostgreSQL project, such as advocacy materials, conference expenses, legal expenses, and travel costs. This is where you come in.</p>

< <p>Companies and Individuals using PostgreSQL can now help fund the PostgreSQL project through individual contributions. PostgreSQL has teamed up with <a href="http://www.spi-inc.org">Software in the Public Interest</a> (SPI), a U.S. based non-profit organization, to handle donations to the PostgreSQL project. Payments can be made in the following ways:</p>
