Its trying to connect to unix socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432",
but your postgresql.conf file probably has:
unix_socket_directory = '/tmp'
Change it to:
unix_socket_directory = '/var/run/postgresql'
and restart PG.
